An Introduction to Drawing the Human Form Thursday 2nd July 7 - 9pm

Is there a gap on your wall where you would love to hang your own piece of artwork? Then this is the workshop for you.

An introduction to drawing the human form with artist Penny Bunker.

During the workshop you will learn,

Techniques to successfully use charcoals and soft pastels to produce striking drawings.

About the surfaces suited to working in charcoal and soft pastels.

An incremental approach to drawing the human form which will help with any future drawings.

By the end of the workshop you will have produced your own bold and beautiful drawing to take away with you.

You will also take home an introductory sample of the art products used during the workshop.

You will need to wear older clothes for the workshop as charcoal can be very powdery. Please bring a picture or a photograph of a person you wish to draw. The picture needs to have areas of light and shadow, angles and curves. You may wish to bring a photo of yourself or find something online by searching human form, life model or dancers.
