In this class you will create two pairs of sterling silver earrings using silver sheet, wire and a variety of hammers and stamps to add texture. For the stud earrings you will be provided with a piece of silver sheet for you to pierce out your own shapes with a jewellers saw which can then be textured and shaped to your design. For the hoops you will use a length of 2mm silver wire that can be textured and shaped to create your earrings. You will learn to pierce, texture, shape and solder in this class and you will leave with your finished earrings at the end.
Please be sure to bring with you any reading glasses you need and ensure long hair is tied back. Suitable clothing must be worn (no loose clothing, sandals or open toe shoes).
Ticket price includes all equipment, materials and refreshments. As this class is over lunchtime, we will have a short break. There are plenty of places to get food in the village or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
Due to the workshop being held upstairs it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.
